We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Training Assistant to join our team.

Job Description

The Cybersecurity Training Assistant will be primarily responsible for supporting students with inquiries concerning the content of our cybersecurity courses, particularly those related to CompTIA certifications. This role involves assisting students in understanding complex concepts, answering course-related questions, and providing additional resources to enhance their learning experience. The ideal candidate is a proactive individual with a strong interest in cybersecurity education and a passion for helping others succeed.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond promptly and effectively to student inquiries related to the content of CompTIA certification courses (Security+, Network+, PenTest+).
• Assist students in understanding key cybersecurity concepts and principles covered in our training programs.
• Conduct routine calls and video calls with students to respond to inquiries and assess their progress.
• Collaborate with instructors to ensure students receive accurate and comprehensive answers to their questions.
• Maintain and update FAQs and other support documents to address common student concerns.
• Track and report on student inquiries and feedback to improve course content and delivery.
• Support the development of study guides, practice exams, and other supplementary materials.
• Assist in the organization and delivery of training sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Familiarity with CompTIA certification exams (Security+, Network+, PenTest+).
• Strong interest in cybersecurity and a desire to contribute to the education and training of others.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle tasks simultaneously.
• Kind, patient and welcoming attitude.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in an educational or training environment.
• Experience with online learning platforms and virtual training tools.
